Will 5G be a major leap, or a series of incremental steps to consolidate what is already evolving in wireless networks? It’s one of the most fundamental questions on this topic, and the answer is likely to be ‘both’. 5G needs to be a step change in terms of the use cases and applications it can support, enabling radical new business models.
