Asset-tracking giant Zebra Technologies has announced that it has joined the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) and added the OMA Lightweight Machine to Machine (LWM2M) standard to its Zatar IoT platform – which is due to emerge from public beta imminently. In conjunction with October’s integration of ARM’s mbed OS and development ecosystem, the new OMA announcements position Zatar for a serious push into the business markets – providing new customers with IoT services and connectivity.
