Remote healthcare has advanced on various fronts, with the help of increasingly fast and resilient broadband and especially mobile networks. The greatest progress so far has been made in monitoring, where AI technologies are increasingly being deployed to automate routine tasks, improve diagnostic accuracy in some areas such as analysis of scanned images for cancer diagnosis, and generally augment clinical decision making.
