In its first set of financial results since agreeing to be acquired by Disney, FuboTV has reported a record total of 1.7 million subscribers. However, at just a 4% year on year increase, this marks a near-saturation point for the sports streaming platform. That is, until Fubo is merged with Hulu later this year—forming a 6.7-million-subsriber-strong streaming enterprise marking an inflection point for entertainment and sports consumption in the North American market. Though not all is well at Hulu either. Hulu ended 2024 with 53.6 million total subscribers. Of these, 4.6 million take the live TV + SVoD package.
