Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom has just tapped up Broadpeak to handle server-side ad insertion (SSAI) for its Hami Video streaming service. This is described as an “always-on” channel, which to everyone else is just called a TV channel. And with 3 million subscribers, in a country with a population of 23.4 million people, Hami Video is no minnow. However, in the advertising game, big numbers will only translate to big dollars based on conversions. This is a revenue share deployment for Broadpeak’s SaaS dynamic ad insertion capabilities via the broadpeak.io platform.
