Something big is brewing at MediaKind. The Ericsson spin off venture has recently informed existing Mediaroom customers that an Android TV client is becoming available in the near future – marking its belated and potentially disruptive entrance into the Operator Tier marketplace. MediaKind has confirmed exclusively to Faultline that it will continue to invest in the Mediaroom program and its innovation roadmap, as the vendor embraces the Android TV ecosystem and adopts the technology as part of Mediaroom’s ongoing development.
