Ossia Inc. has announced that its Cota wireless charging system successfully charged an iPhone from 40 feet away through two walls in front of a crowd of investors. If successfully implemented, this technology has huge potential in the connected home and the IoT. Cota emerged from five years of stealth development to charge an iPhone from 10 feet away at a demonstration at the Disrupt SF conference in September 2013.
