US advertising giant The Trade Desk is due to launch its proprietary TV operating system, Ventura OS, in the second half of 2025. There remains one crucial problem though—Ventura’s only OEM partner, Sonos, recently shelved plans to ship a Ventura-powered streaming device, leaving The Trade Desk without a single hardware partner, months before its due date.
