M&A & Investments Retelit, fresh from being part of a consortium that acquired TIM’s Sparkle wing, has confirmed that it is acquiring BT’s Italian operations, including fiber network and data centers. No price has been given, but 2024 revenue was around €160 million. Fujitsu is spinning out its photonics and mobile networks assets as a new company, using its 1Finity brand. It will be a wholly-owned subsidiary, but expect a stake to be sold in the next few quarters. It will launch in July, and have around 1,800 direct staff.
